About the Recipe

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
Savvy Gourmand Kickin' Cajun Dip Mix
salt & pepper to taste
olive oil
linguine or your favorite pasta
6 Tbsp. butter
3 cups heavy cream or half & half(room temp)
Preparation
Step 1: CHICKEN
Season two thinly sliced chicken breasts generously with Cajun or Creole seasoning (we love Dak's Cajun Voodoo) and desired amount of salt & pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add chicken to skillet and sear it, about 4-5 minutes each side, until a brown crust has formed and chicken is cooked through. Set aside and slice after cooling.
Step 3: PASTA
Cook pasta according to the package directions.
Step 4: SAUCE
Melt 6 Tbsp of butter to the same skillet over medium heat. Whisk in the Kickin' Cajun Dip Mix and heat for 30 seconds. Slowly add in 3 cups of half and half or heavy whipping cream (room temp is best). Reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 5: COMBINE AND SERVE
Add the drained pasta to your skillet, mixing to fully coat it. Add sliced chicken and toss to incorporate the sauce fully. Allow it to heat through for 1-2 minutes.
We serve with garlic bread topped with grated Parmesan cheese and diced tomatoes :).
